LR003 Security Operator III

Security Operator III, Cloud Computing Technologies Small Business Labor Rate, under general supervision, ensure the security of enterprise IT systems and data of the organization by implementing adequate security systems, procedures, and policies that suit the organization’s needs. Develop and install security alarm systems and respond to and escalate alarm calls in accordance to established procedures. Install, operate and monitor access control systems, risk management systems and software, life safety systems, police scanners, Electronic Access Control Systems, motion-activated camera systems, and computer badge stations and review video alarm notifications and respond accordingly. May have 11 or more years of experience in this field, with one year of satisfactory full-time professional experience in a command department or intelligence environment in one or a combination of the following: Department of Homeland Security, emergency management, fire or police services, public safety services, public health services, public administration, urban planning, engineering, military service or any other specialized area that relates to public or private command center operations. Have extensive knowledge of computer programming languages (Java, Python, C++) and relational database systems such as MySQL and SQL. Safeguard the integrity and reputation of the organization by helping to build new, innovative, and secured operational processes. Documents and analyze equipment failures, maintenance issues, and initiated corrective actions. Possesses the ability to maintain composure in dealing with law enforcement authorities, executives, clients, staff and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and high-pressure situations. Utilize advanced skills to design, develop and perform preventive safety measures to protect organizational property from theft and damage and protect persons from hazards or threats. Coordinate and maintain staff operational logs, conduct and monitor daily shift checklists, and keep performance and incident reports. Ensure that all forms of organizational communications – e-mails, texts and voice interactions – are conducted in a courteous and professional manner, confidentially, and appropriately documented. Work with the security management team, departmental supervisors, clients, and organizational personnel in ensuring intranet and internet security, social media surveillance, corporate aircraft flight tracking, business operation risk analysis, and severe weather surveillance. Reports to the Senior Security Operator.
