Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineer, Cloud Computing Technologies Agile Development Labor Rate builds and operates highly scalable, fault tolerant, elastic, reliable and secure services in a distributed system of hardware with varying reliability guarantee. Defines and implements state-of-the-art technical solutions, including capabilities to support elastic scalability, on-demand self-service, disaster recovery, and usage-based consumption, which allows customers solve most complex data analytics challenges. Sets up, delivers and refines a platform engineering roadmap to enable all platforms and products remain current. Demonstrates high level of proficiency with at least two general-purpose computer programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, Go, Kotlin, Scala Typescript/NodesJS, and other related database languages. Possesses vast knowledge of infrastructure as code concepts and tools (Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.) and strong fundamentals of virtualization and containerization technologies such as Docker. Showcases solid computer science background in data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis. Offers expertise on technology platforms across the organization as required, in order to support management teams and overall development activities in building complex, dynamic products and services. Coordinates and directs the activities of Kubernetes Platform Engineer I, II, and III.
