Design, develop, test, deploy and support integrated scalable, secure, high performance microservice systems and components. Plan, develop, implement and maintain the overall company’s software security strategy. Perform various microservice security testing techniques and methods. Performs security testing and code review to improve software security. Helps to plan the company’s information security strategy. Educates staff members on information security through training and awareness. Recommending modifications in legal, technical and regulatory areas. Collaborate on agile teams, working with internal / external resources required to fulfill adequate security requirements. Makes sure that user data can be gotten from share session storage. Educate developers on secure coding techniques and security best practices. Participate in development of security policies, standards, and processes. Identifies security vulnerabilities from source code reviews and testing. Participate in incident handling and perform application-related forensics activities. Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to ensure secure development standards and secure coding best practices are followed. Perform ethical hacking/pen-testing. Provide technical advice to internal organizations in the area of information security, specializing in application-level security and secure coding techniques. Performs static/dynamic code testing, manual code inspection, threat modeling. Design reviews and penetration testing of internal web applications and external partner applications to identify vulnerabilities and security defects. Microservices Security Engineer III requires a bachelor of science degree in computer engineering computer science, mathematics or any other related specialty, with 9+ years of experience working in a related software security department. Core skills required includes; outstanding communication skills, the commercial ability to provide cost-effective security solutions. Experience with microservices enterprise platform necessary. Experience with continuous delivery via Kubernetes and Azure DevOps is needed. Good understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices. Has understanding of Agile development methodologies.
