Application Software Developer I, Cloud Computing Technologies Agile Development Labor Rate is responsible for creating new software applications and updating and/or modifying already existing ones. The Application Software Developer I work with users to process their needs and create unique software for different kinds of computer programs. Work with other computer specialists to make an analysis of various data to figure out the specifications of the applications and all that is required for its design. Meticulously designs various prototype applications, documents all the processes for future references, and then codes the application. Carries out a series of stringent tests and procedures to make sure that the applications run without bugs and with optimum efficiency. Analyze and fix all errors found within the application software. Develops handbooks that show how new applications have been designed, their codes, how they can be used by end users. Tasked with the responsibility of troubleshooting and modifying already existing programs to improve the performance. Oversees the development life-cycle of the application, including designing, coding, and testing for its functionality and its errors. Ensures that the apps that are designed meet every requirement in terms of performance and security. May have a degree in computer science or in related programs such as computer engineering. May have 2-5 years of experience in this field, with at least one year of satisfactory experience in application and software development. Have proficient knowledge of one or more computer programming languages such as JAVA and ORACLE database. Have an excellent familiarity with several operating systems, great analytical mindset, and keen eyes for details. Works with the team under the supervision of the Senior Application Software Developer.
