Space Avionics Software Engineer II, Cloud Computing Technologies Agile Development Labor Rate is responsible for the development and maintenance of codes and the integration of software components into a fully functional software system. Write programs, prepare certification documents, develop code according to requirements, and thoroughly review the codes. Stay abreast of technological advances in the space avionics software engineering field with the aim of implementing more efficient features into old or new software systems. Provide application support for spacecraft communication, guidance, and navigation systems. Install, support, and service space avionics software to ensure continuous efficiency. Test and calibrate avionic application systems, including the electronic communication panels. Develop space avionics software prototypes, test the prototypes for functionality effectiveness, and deploy successful protypes for large scale output. Conversant with the methods that various application models and simulations can be developed and deployed. May have an academic certification in computer science, software engineering, aeronautical engineering, software engineering, or other closely related courses; with 6-10 years of experience in this field. Boast of Complete training and certification from the Federal Aviation Administration. Capable of developing space avionics applications software with various programming languages such as Python, C, C++, C#, and Java. Knowledgeable about several relational database languages such as SQL, MySQL, Oracle, MS Access, dBASE, and so on. Capable of using a wide range of operating systems (such as Linux, Windows, and Unix) in scripting software codes. Has perfect knowledge of DevSecOps and DevOps principles and methodologies and incorporate them into the software scripting process. Work under the supervision of the Senior Space Avionics Software Engineer.
