Ensure the delivery of high-quality and valuable features in space products and ensure the implementation of evolving internal Quality Assurance practices. A Space Quality Assurance Test Engineer I is responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches in space products such as rockets, spaceships and missiles. Review and analyze system specifications, execute testing policies and document technical issues identified, and report solutions implemented. Establish testing strategies and design testing timelines to ensure proper functioning of space products. Identify and fix bugs. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved and automate security against future attack from similar bugs. Possess 3-5 years of working experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer in software development and testing. May have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields, or equivalent certifications. Able to write clean and testable code (Ex: .NET, Python, Go, Java, Groovy). Highly proficient in web application and API testing. Experience in at least one scripting tool (such as Katalon Studio and SoapUI). Proven experience with Selenium WebDriver and/or Cucumber. Attention to detail and the ability to sort out and diagnose and resolve complex issues when attempting application testing.
