Deputy Information Security Officer, Cloud Computing Technologies Agile Development Labor Rate is responsible for employing best practices to ensure the protection of data from unauthorized access. Put in place security measures that will prevent classified and private data from getting into the wrong hands who may misuse or alter the information. Provide support to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in drawing security strategy, setting security rules, and ensuring its compliance; and in all other aspects of the security program. Stand-in for the CISO should the CISO be unavailable and ensure there is no breakdown in operations if the CISO is absent. Draft and manage the information security budget in conjunction with the CISO. Stay in charge of all IT-related security operations including cybersecurity, Application security (Appsec), Network security, and information and communications system management. Have at least 11 years of experience serving in the role or in any related role with an enviable track record and expertise in Cyberspace, information assurance, Cybersecurity strategy, information security, security policy formulation, Enterprise IT Operations, telecommunications, and joint and integrated information operations. May have a Bachelor’s degree or higher-level degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or any other related field. Identify and train future executives across the department. Evaluate employees, identifying their strengths and weaknesses, and helping them improve on them. Have impressive verbal and written communication skills. Have excellent interpersonal skills and ensure employees remain updated on the latest changes in security measures. Familiar with federal regulations on Information Security, Cybersecurity, and Data Protection. Well-trained in risk management and crisis management. Maintain high rating on emotional intelligence and social intelligence and capable of keeping a cordial, yet professional relationship with the employees. Make valuable recommendations to the CISO that can boost workplace security. Reports directly to the CISO.
